Gina came to live with us in October 1997 she was brought into the pet shop where I worked with her brothers and sisters for sale. I had told them previously that I did not want to see any cute little puppy dogs so this day I was told as I walked into the shop to clean out the rats, mice and guinea pigs not to look into the puppy cage.! So I didn't.

Then my manager later said "look at this" and in her hand was this tiny, little, black, woolly, fluff ball that was not as big as the male rats I had. I took one look and said " I am having her" I looked into her little eyes and she starred at me and that was that. Ralph said when I showed him " We don't need another dog, at that time we already had 3 elderly dogs. I just said "I wasn't asking".

So I brought home with me little 400 gram poodle x fox terrier and we have always been the best of friends. Although now she weighs closer to 4 kilos. Gina is quiet, unassuming, friendly, very stubborn, delightful companion and I would not ever regret my love at first sight. As you can see by the picture she sleeps on my bed and is the boss of Sebastian and Cassie.
